R2B x GGEI

R2B is honored to announce our partnership with Greater Good’s Education Initiative. Our support has helped them with the build out of their first online well-being course for educators. We love how wide their reach is and how useful, succinct, and research-focused their materials are. We believe educators around the world (not just in The Bay Area) will greatly benefit from this learning experience they are designing, and thus, so will the students they serve.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

ALL

ARE ABLE

Regardless of one's mental health starting point, both children and adults are able to grow in their SEWB.

Mental health, physical health, and academic health are inextricably linked.

DETECT

EARLY

Undetected mental health issues can become more acute later in life. We must detect issues, prevent illness, and promote wellness from an early age.

CAUSE AND

EFFECT

Learning and behavior issues (often detected at school) can be symptoms of an underlying social/emotional/mental health issue.

ONE SIZE DOESN’T

FIT ALL

In order for a practice to work, the teacher needs to embody it. Not every practice is going to fit every teacher and/or student.
